Kyle and Allison first met in the summer of 2019 as they were just beginning their senior year of college – Kyle at Rockhurst and Allison at William Jewell. Following their brief introduction, mutual friends kept setting them up to be at the same place at the same time, hoping the two would hit it off. Kyle and Allison quickly became inseparable and they knew from that moment how special their connection was. So much so that Allison texted her mom during a night-out with Kyle that she found the boy she wanted to marry... Vicki of course responded with "send me a picture".

Nearly every moment for their first two years was spent together, knowing that Kyle would eventually be moving to Tulsa to start medical school.

As Kyle began his journey as an Oklahoma State Cowboy, Allison began her career as an Event Planner in Kansas City. They spent nearly four years facing the joys and challenges of long distance. The joys came when the two were reunited after weeks or months apart and the challenges came on Sunday afternoons when they would have to say goodbye again.

In June of 2023, the two spent a week together in Mexico where Kyle had planned a perfect proposal. Since then, they've spent many months celebrating their engagement and patiently waiting for their special day.

They're looking forward to being married for many reasons – finally living in the same city, spending time with one another, and mostly for Margo (Allison's dog) to finally get a dad!
